The Heart saver CPR, AED course is designed to prepare people to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner. At the end of the course students will be able to:
- Recognize when someone needs CPR
- Perform high-quality CPR for an Adult, Child and Infant
- Give effective breaths by using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups
- Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult and child
- Describe when and how to help a choking adult, child
