The PEARS Course was developed to better meet the training needs of providers who no not routinely resuscitate infants and children. Because the recognition of a child with a potentially life threatening condition is paramount to improving outcomes, this course focuses on improving pediatirc assessment and recognition skills, with less emphasis on management. This course is designed for in-hospital providers outside of critical care areas, outpatient clinic staff, and school-based providers.
