TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course - 2 day class

 

*****THIS IS A TWO DAY CLASS******  APRIL 11TH AND 12TH **********

 

ENA developed The Trauma Nursing Core Course to establish a standardized body of trauma nursing knowledge and to improve the care of all trauma patients by Registered Nurses. This seventh edition course combines interactive learning with scenario-based assessments to give nurses a comprehensive learning experience. TNCC empowers nurses with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and hands-on training to provide expert care for trauma patients.

The course includes:

Rapid identification of life-threatening injuries through a systematic and comprehensive approach of initial assessment and intervention.

Enhanced intervention for better patient outcomes using a hands-on training approach and team integration and communication. Skills stations include Trauma Nursing Process, Airway and Ventilation and Trauma Interventions.

You will need to purchase the Trauma Nursing Core Provider Manual (TNCC) current edition to review prior to attending this course.  Books can be purchased through online dealers such as Amazon or Emergency Nurses Association.

Successful completion of the course requires 80% or greater on the multiple choice exam and 70% or greater on the skill station evaluation and attending the two day class.

RN Candidates with successful completion will receive the ENA TNCC 4 year provider verification card. 

All attendees will be awarded contact hour certificate with appropriate contact hours.
